Kevin Harrison of the Minneapolis Dynamo had a fine season this year, and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2009.
The 26-year-old first baseman put up a .310 average and a .373 on-base percentage, piling up 131 hits, 21 doubles, 1 triple, 10 home runs, 51 RBIs and 52 runs scored.

Ed Brown has been around GAB Double A enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his sensational run through the 2009 season, he's taking home the Outstanding Hitter Award in the Sub League 1.
The Colorado Springs left fielder put up a batting average of .338 with 33 doubles, 2 triples, 7 home runs and 60 RBIs.

 | Friday, August 28th, 2009: Hoskins Takes Home SL2 Outstanding Pitcher Award
The spotlight today is on Bill Hoskins of the Hickman Drivers. The bullpen ace was named the top pitcher in the Sub League 2 and he will be honored with the 2009 Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Hickman's star reliever held the opposition to a .261 average and put up 21 saves and 40 strikeouts in 73.1 innings with a 4-5 mark and a 3.68 ERA.
